Typically, when cooler weather arrives, I tend to slack on typical womanly duties like maintaining smooth legs.  Wearing pants every day can really bring out the laziness in me when it comes to shaving.  But this year I'm determined to do things differently.

From this day forward, I vow to rock smooth legs all fall and winter.  The smoother, the better.  Just recently, I stumbled upon a simple shaving tip that I had the pleasure of trying this morning.  I'm happy to report that this tiny tweak made a huge difference in the closeness of my shave.

According to the article I read, in order to experience a closer shave than you've ever had before, you need to take one extra step.

After shaving my legs like normal (vertically), I proceeded to implement their advice of also shaving the leg horizontally.  This produces a closer shave because we're cutting the hair from a completely different angle.  It really only takes a few more seconds to do but the results are pretty amazing.

I really wish I had prior knowledge of this technique during the summer but, hey, better late than never.  When summer rolls around again, I'll be ready.  For now, I'm enjoying my soft, ultra-smooth legs. And that's all that matters.
